Pre-Junior Course: This is for children who are six or seven years old. It is always a good idea to start learning English early because younger pupils acquire foreign languages easily and with pleasure, and what they learn stays with them. The course is organized and the teaching materials are chosen in such a way as to motivate children and help them to develop positive attitudes to foreign language learning.

A full colour, write-in book (Pebbles, Longman) is used in the classroom, containing a wealth of activities including games, songs, task - based listening, rhymes and craft activities.

During the course pupils develop their listening skills and pronunciation, learn to give basic information about themselves and are introduced to elementary themes in English. The course is accompanied by multimedia exercises providing a wealth of extra entertaining games.

The course helps them foster co-operation and respect for themselves and others through their work.

"A and B Junior" Courses: These are for primary school pupils (from the second to the fourth or fifth grade in the state school).
As with the pre-junior course, the course materials and teaching techniques motivate the young learners and help them regard studying English as fun, rather than as a tedious task.
Pharos pupils work with a specially designed book ("Fun English" by Longman), which consists of coloured, illustrated pages, containing a continuing story, reading practice, and a variety of exercises aimed at accuracy and fluency.
Throughout the school year, the pupils' progress is constantly monitored with numerous unit and progress tests especially designed by our educational consultants. As with all our courses, when specific problems arise, students receive additional consultation hours.
Junior courses are also supplemented with appropriate video and graded reading materials.

Fun Practice A and B are supplementary grammar books especially designed by Pharos' team of consultants to provide students with extra fun exercises.
